production log- week 4

•What progress did you make since your previous entry? 
This week i carried on with editing my footage. I also as i said last week got to film my vox pops. I filmed people on the streets to where i lived. I also then uploaded this onto the macs and started to edit it.    

•What logistical challenges did you face and how did you overcome them?
This week the only challenge i face was filming my vox pops. This is because i did not really know how to set up the camera to make the vox pop look less like a interview. But after my first attempt i understood what i had done wrong and then could correct this in the next vox pop. Also because i was doing my vox pops in a non busy street i did not really come across many people, so i had to cut filming my vox pops short due to not having enough people in the area to film.

•What technical challenges did you face this week and how did you overcome them?

This week the only technical challenge i faced was that the tripod was not stable so i had to hold it still with my hands so it did not move while i was filming. Also when using live type i did not know how to make my text fade in and out, so to overcome this i went onto YouTube to get the answer, but i did not find out how to do so, so i then asked my teacher who taught me how to do so.

•What targets do you aim to achieve before your next entry?
Next week i hope to have filmed my last interview with my mum and had completed most of my editing, as next week is deadline week. I also re-watched my footage and noticed i needed more cutaways in one of my interviews so i hope to film them next week.
